Situated where Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits meet, Pernand-Vergelesses enjoys both features. It is the only village that offers in both white and red wines : Grand Cru, Premier Cru, Village and Regional.

A story full of stories

Pernand-Vergelesses is one of the most beautiful villages of Burgundy but also one the most ancient : our ancestors, the Celtic people used to call this ''God hallowed'' place by the name of ''NAN'' which means ''source''.

Charles Martel owned vineyards in this regions and passed them to his grand son Charlemagne.

Each year Hospices de Beaune sell at their prestigious auction the ''cuvée Rameau Lamarosse'' coming from the premier cru ''Les Vergelesses''.
